Vision

The ultimate vision of this programme is see 760 churches in the “Kebele’s” or sub districts in five years to see holistically transformed Christ followers in the Omo valley.

We take our share achieve the great commission and strengthen mission focused collaboration between the churches. Expected outputs are 760 church planters who will be the main vehicle that God is going to use to plant the church in the Omo valley. We achieve this by providing training to the churches in evangelism, church planting, and disciple–making activities and, providing capacity building training for church planters to self-support.

Mission

The mission of the Church planting and discipleship movement is:

  1. To facilitate life skill training for youths recruited from different tribes of the Omo Valley

  2. To create an environment that inspires gatherings of prayer warriors.

  3. Maximize the involvement of stakeholders in the accomplishment of the great commission and strengthen collaboration between the churches, to seek and save the lost, to build and expand His church.

  4. Mobilizing Churches for the great mission through formal Bible school training, informal trainings such as storytelling and training of lay pastors (Indigenous Church planters)
