Business Department Site Visit to Gnimemeri

1. Visit Report Summary
A visit was conducted to Gnimemeri site by BLFP business department supervisor and Church planting coordinators on the 27th of April, 2020 basically to observe the progress of businesses in the area, Church planting movement, to plan and discuss on spiritual training programs coming up next starting from May 10, 2020.
This report only highlights the progress of businesses owned and run by Church planters at Gnimemeri site namely Evangelist Peter and Evangelist John.
Separate Church planting visit report will be compiled by Pastor Ayalkibet once he finishes the overall Gospel sites visit including the Weyto cluster, Erbore and the Wayou areas in the coming few days.
2. Progress of the Banana Business
The banana business run by the above mentioned Evangelists in the area is on a good progress and lots of improvements were made from the last visit.
371 additional bananas were planted on the farm within 5 weeks making the total banana plantation number 544.
23 Mango trees were planted nearby the banana farm area
456 more bananas were planned to be planted on the farm within the next few weeks making the total of bananas planted 1000.
The pump has got few mechanical problems and as per the conversation with Evangelist Peter, the issue is a minor problem and will be fixed very soon by mechanics in Omorate.
Clearance of the bushes grown within the banana farm area will be conducted this week hiring 10 daily laborers.
